About Lavar

Lavar Scott competed in the 2025 ARCA Menards Series driving the No. 6 car for Rev Racing, finishing the season second in the championship standings. Building on that momentum, Scott earned Rookie of the Year honors in 2024 while also closing the season second in points, underscoring his rapid rise and consistency at the national level.

Lavar Scott’s journey through motorsport is defined by early ambition, consistent growth, and a commitment to pushing the sport forward—on the track and in the community.

 

Lavar began racing Quarter Midgets at Blackbird Speedway, quickly establishing himself as a standout competitor.

• 50+ wins across multiple divisions
• Jr. Honda, Jr. Stocker, Light 160, World Formula
• Early foundation built on discipline and racecraft

Lavar advanced into the 600cc Micro Sprint division and made history as the youngest driver to win at Airport Speedway.

• 4 wins in a single season
• Victories at Hamlin Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway
• 15 wins across three seasons
• Competed across NJ, DE, PA, and NC

In 2020, Lavar relocated to North Carolina to pursue racing full time and was selected for NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program with Rev Racing.

Lavar transitioned into full-body stock car racing, competing in Late Models and the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series.
